The NCFTA served as the command center in the US for the 2019 Global Airline Action Days (GAAD) on November 18 – 22, 2019 and has done so since 2016.

The mission of the GAAD is to mitigate and disrupt the use of stolen payment card data to defraud airlines and financial institutions.

The 2019 GAAD resulted in 79 arrests or detainments and the mitigation of 165 suspicious transactions.

Europol said, “GAAD was coordinated from command posts at Europol in The Hague, INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation in Singapore, Ameripol and Colombia in Bogota, Canada and NCFTA (with the US Secret Service) in the US.”
