The partnership benefits industry beginners, pros by bringing together seasoned cybersecurity experts.
AUSTIN, TX October 17, 2018 – CyberDefenses, a premier Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) since 2001, has paired up with the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA) to expand the NCFTA’s training program into the southwestern United States. Through the partnership, the two organizations are combining their in-depth expertise and proven curricula to create the top cyber-forensics training program in the country for law enforcement and business.
This collaborative program expansion is a timely move to help fight the current unprecedented rise in cybercrime. At a time when cyber threats are increasing, the cybersecurity industry needs professionals who are proactively and continuously trained to defend against the latest threat methodologies. The program’s instructors are highly seasoned cybersecurity professionals who hold key positions as industry practitioners such as threat intelligence and security operations center (SOC) leaders. They bring their invaluable knowledge gathered from day-to-day experience working on the front lines to investigate and curtail cybercriminal activity.
“Education can not be overestimated as an effective tactic in keeping network, systems and data protected from malicious cyberattacks,” Armando Ordonez, CEO of CyberDefenses says. “NCFTA is doing exceptional work in this arena. They have a strong track record of creating and delivering training that helps us arm cybersecurity pros and law enforcement with the information and skills they need to do their jobs well.”
The NCFTA was established in 2002 as a nonprofit partnership between private industry, government and academia. The organization’s purpose is to provide a neutral, trusted environment that enables two-way collaboration to identify, mitigate, and disrupt cybercrime within a community that fosters knowledge sharing.

Fifty percent of the team is comprised of military veterans, 85 percent of the team holds Secret or Top-Secret clearance and the company works with some of the world’s most recognized enterprise brands.
