On December 16, 2019, the Dubai Police arrested Ridouan Taghi who leads “Angels of Death”, which is considered to be the largest drug trafficking organization in Africa and Europe.
The Dubai Police and the National Police Corps in the Netherlands are trying to extradite Taghi to the Netherlands.
Law enforcement arrested 16 others in connection to him.
He and his associates allegedly assassinated nine people, including a prosecution witness in a murder case against Taghi, the witnesses’ attorney and an anti-Islamic Republic of Iran regime political activist, and tried to murder others.
The National Police Corps recognized the NCFTA for assisting them in investigating Taghi and one of his associates during their time with the International Task Force (ITF) at the NCFTA in May 2019.
